New Balance London Edition 2023... the reviews are in.
Emma, Up & Running Teddington
The count down to the 2023 marathon is on and many of our team at Up & Running are underway with their training to head to the start line. New Balance have released their London Edition Collection, including the Fresh Foam X 880 v13s, tights and tee. Coming in hot to selected stores, Emma has tried and tested the kit and here are her thoughts...
London Edition Fresh Foam X 880 v13
The Fresh Foam X makes this a super soft shoe. A great mileage shoe, feels durable. The heel is super-cushioned with the toes being slightly firmer making it feel stable. The fit makes you feel supported over the whole foot and has a good amount of room, great for all the marathon miles. NDurance rubber outsole, creates a supportive frame with added grip. The upper is breathable and has a sleek fit, this makes the shoe feel neat and comfortable.
Printed Impact Run Short Sleeve T-Shirt
The design is light and breathable. The New Balance ICEx fast-drying technology helps you stay cool while running. The athletic fit allows for a nice fit, still allowing movement. The print is fun and subtle, the perfect combination. Storage pockets for your phone and gels are extremely handy.
Printed Impact Run Tight
The low rise and the drawstring allows for an easy fit. The material stretches well for all movement while also being fitted around the hips and thighs. The New Balancex premium fast-drying technology wicks moisture away from your body. It also has a storage tunnel which is very handy for any extra layer you might need. There is a good amount of storage pockets for your phone and gels.
